Mission and purpose
Born out of the need for venture capital coming into Africa to be more effective, we set out to establish a movement on a mission to leverage our 23+ years of combined industry experience in Africa to deploy USD +9.5m of venture capital into a curated portfolio of home-grown startups.
Our purpose is to help create meaningful and enduring change in Africa through investments in disruptive ideas and the spirited problem solvers who embody the philosophy of afrocapitalism.
Afrocapitalism philosophy
Afrocapitalism seeks to cure the most pressing challenges facing the African continent through investments that not only create social wealth within the community but also promote the economic prosperity of both the venture startups and the customers they serve.
